Current Trends in Biotechnology and Chemical Research (CTBCR) was been launched in 2011. Currently, it is a half yearly open access journal that publishes papers related to the study and application of biotechnology related to (i) medicine, biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences, (ii) agriculture and plant biotechnology, and (iii) environment and biodiversity. Since, biotechnology also relies heavily on chemical research therefore CTBCR encompasses informationon interdisciplinary aspects of chemical research in biotechnology.
